Life Changes @ Bridges

What God is doing at Bridges and what people are saying...

•  God has been showing me that I have an extended family in Himbrothers and sisters, sons and daughtersin Him!

•  God has been giving me patience.

•  He is teaching us to wait upon Himto learn to see what He wants, not what we think we need!

•  I feel God’s love for me through the people who surround me. This makes me thankful and more appreciative to God every day.

Summer Outreach Opportunity

July 11-16, Mission Springs Conference Center, Scotts Valley, CA

Joni and Friends (disability outreach of Joni Eareckson Tada) is looking for volunteers to serve at their Family Retreat. The camp needs 60-70 volunteer counselors to care for campers. You must be at least 16 years old to volunteer and the camp will provide training. Please contact Sarah Mills for more information.

Having a Hard Time Finding Parking?

Our main lot is frequently full. Don’t forget that we have off-site parking at Hopkins Junior High (across the street) and at both realty offices on the corners of Driscoll and Mission. Please park along the wall in these lots. Parking off-site is a great opportunity to show love to newcomers and families with small children by allowing them to park closer to the church!

Celebration Update

On Sunday, April 27, we celebrated our semi-annual membership meeting at 3:00 pm. During this meeting we approved our church treasurer: Travis Carr; church clerk: Laurie Walter; and four elders: Pat Caples, Chuck Collins, Randy Olsen, and Stephen Olsen. We appreciate your part in affirming the leadership of Bridges and look forward to another great year of ministry. Take every opportunity to encourage and appreciate those continuing to serve our church through ministry positions of leadership.
