The Plan of Salvation

Becoming a Christian has nothing to do with attending church, being a morally upright person, or donating funds to religious groups. Instead, becoming a Christian begins with receiving the Lord Jesus Christ by faith as an act of the will.

The Bible teaches us that all have missed the mark of God’s perfection. This means that we are sinners, and because God is morally perfect in every way, we are at odds with God, who alone is righteous. But God demonstrated His love to mankind by sending His only Son, Jesus Christ, to earth in order to die for the sins of the world (you and me) and pay the penalty that each of us owe God but can never pay! Those who personally place their trust in what Jesus did at the cross and who receive Him into their lives as Lord and Savior become children of God, new creations! (John 1:12, 2 Corinthians 5:17, Revelation 3:20)

With faith in Jesus Christ, we live our lives in obedience to the commands of Scripture with a deep sense of personal gratitude for all that God has given to us. You can receive Christ right now. Here is a suggested prayer:

Dear Lord, I know that I'm a sinner and need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died for my sins. I want to turn from my sins. I now invite You to come into my heart and life. I want to trust and follow You as my Lord and Savior.
